Pieces of objects I couldn’t keep all of

So I mainly just have a few objects from my grandma’s house…this for instance…is a swatch [of fabric from my grandma’s couch].

This is [a piece of]  my grandma’s floor. It doesn’t look too much like I remember it because this [sample of carpet] is new; the carpet I saw was so worn away. My dad recently sold her house because she passed away and I made my dad save me a ton of the carpet. Then I thought ‘that’s just dumb’ because what am I going to do with all this carpet?

I do [also] have part of the floor. This is her kitchen; it’s probably my favorite of the three.

I guess when you’re three and two years old and you’re hanging out at your grandmas you are really short.  So of course I liked the carpet and the tile; that’s all I could see!
