Shoes

Shoes

I bought a house with my lovely wife a few years ago in Logan Square. The house is from 1894 so it needs some work…at one point I had to cut open the ceiling above the kitchen to run some vents from the furnace…so I get up into the ceiling a little bit and I start looking around…and I look over across one of the rafters and I see something there and I’m not quite sure what it is…I’m a little freaked out…I reach back and I see a baby’s shoe…[then I pull out something else and] it’s a toddler’s shoe….I go back in for more…and a woman’s shoe!
