This is an alto saxophone.
As a result of [my grandfather’s death] we…moved my grandmother to Chicago. …She plays violin in a string ensemble, the first thing she did coming to Chicago, which is really impressive that she adapted really quickly and she’s playing the violin and is having a grand old time of it…It inspired me to pick up the alto saxophone again. I played it for eight years, then didn’t play it for thirteen years…then as a result of [my grandmother] being in the string ensemble, I decided it was time [to start playing again].
This belongs in the Museum of Grandparents
