I have a souvenir from the Chicago World’s Fair 1933. It’s the Fort Dearborn, a replica of it. Unfortunately this little guy is not mine, it’s from my husband’s “chotch shelf,” so I kind of snitched him for tonight. It’s also a conciliatory prize. We actually had been trying to bid on the Picasso from eBay, and we didn’t get that one. And this little guy is, well, what we decided on getting instead. That’s my story.
This belongs in the World’s Fair Museum of Chicago
